Anyone who is a car enthusiast or even has a basic knowledge of cars would know that Jaguar is one of the most desirable car brands worldwide. The British carmaker had a wide range of products in India including sports cars, as well as family SUVs. However, Jaguar’s portfolio has reduced down to just one car in India, the F-Pace. This is because of Jaguar’s plan to go full electric, and it seems like they are going about it with a brand new identity.
The good news is that Jaguar has announced a revival or a rebirth initiative starting with a new logo and a new brand identity, transitioning towards a more EV-focused approach. A brand once known for its large-sized ICE engines has learned to adapt with time and take the futuristic approach as it will soon become an all-EV brand.
Jaguar has announced that the new brand identity will debut from November 19 and will embody four key elements as part of the retransformation. The four elements include: Device Mark, Strikethrough, Exuberant Colours, and Makers Marks.

The ‘Device Mark’ is the brand’s new signature, with a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters and a special font which gives a simple and geometric appearance. The Strikethrough displays a graphic code for the brand, displayed through plenty of horizontal lines.
The Exuberant colours of Jaguar will have yellow, red and blue as its primary hues. The Makers Mark is the redesigned Jaguar “Leaper” logo which has a fresh and modern look to it.

Well, the new approach would mean nothing if it doesn’t translate into anything concrete and physical. For that, Jaguar has announced that its new Design Vision Concept will make its debut on December 2. A few days ago, Jaguar also teased its upcoming four-door GT model which will be completely electric and in line with the brand’s new image.
For now, there is no news about Jaguar’s upcoming India launches, but chances are that a few new electric models would be launched in the coming years. The models will take on high-end electric vehicles in India. Currently, the F-Pace is the only model on sale in India. It is priced from Rs 72.9 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes with SUVs like the BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
