If we talk about ride and handling, this could easily be the most impressive thing about the Altroz. It manages to deliver an impressive balance between grip, handling and suspension setup. Being a hatchback, 165 mm of ground clearance os sufficient enough for it. The Altroz manages to cushion occupants well from the surface. Be it going over speed breakers or potholes, the suspension manages to take care of them on its on with the occupants hardly feeling it working. It is quiet as well and you can only feel a mild thud in the cabin if you go over something nasty, like a level change. It settles nicely after a bump as well, which will help you stay comfortable for longer journeys in the car. The same composure is maintained over highways as well. Do take a test drive in order to clear your all doubts. Check out authorised dealership details.
The Altroz is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options and both of them are BS6 compliant. The 3-cylinder naturally aspirated 1.2-liter petrol engine produces 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque. Tata Altroz comes with the Revotron engine which is refined and smooth for a 3-cylinder unit but the power is just average and is decent for sedate city performance.

Tata Motors is an Indian brand and before manufacturing any car they do lots of research. So 165 mm ground clearance is pretty much enough for Indian roads because sometimes increasing the ground clearance in hatchback car will affect the handling and stability of the ca. At some uneven surfaces or some big speed breakers, you might feel it touch the ground. But otherwise, it is enough. and as far as Altroz is concerned, it is a very tough car and can handle the bad roads very well.
The Altroz is 3990mm in length, 1755mm in width and 1523mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2501mm. Yes it can be fit inside 7'9" garage but the door opening might be a problem for both sides because one side doors can open but doors of other side will not open in this space
