Maruti Ertiga is available with AT(Automatic Transmission). If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved & are more fun to drive on highways.

Maruti Ertiga CNG variants would be a good option if your daily usage is more and usually commutes in the city only. But we will not recommend Ertiga CNG for the hilly region because the engine delivers less power on CNG fuel as compared to petrol. Though it will do the job but you need to keep the car on higher rpm while tackling slopes and regular usage on the hilly region may hamper you car\'s engine health. Do take a test drive in order to clear your all doubts. Check out details.
It is expected to be the same 4-speed unit that is available in the older Ertiga. The automatic gearbox will be mated to the new 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 104PS and 138Nm, 12PS and 8Nm more than the 1.4-litre engine powering the current-gen Ertiga in India.
