    Relatively bad resale value. If the cars kept for 7 or more years, the depreciated value will not be much. However, due to the pain customers go through in the first few years of ownership (esp. those customers who've had a Maruti or Hyundai earlier), many will sell the vehicle after 3 ~ 4 years. Resale value is very poor during such time since a new Ford car depreciates the most during first 4~5yrs of ownership.

    Please don't buy a car for its resale value. Money is not more important then safety. Though resale value of a car depends on various factors. resale value of a car depreciates year on year in an average of 15% to 20% *.
