    It's not specified clearly, it may be 5 to 7 litres...However, the best practice is to fill the tank when it goes to quarter capacity... best for fuel injection vehicles...Once the indicator start blinking, you are in danger zone. If you run out of fuel, the car onboard computer will lock itself as a safety measure against injector damage. Even if you fill her up and use the pump manually, the engine won't start until the system is unlocked, which is done by the service center guys through their computer...

    Mahindra XUV500 comes with a 70 Liters tank including the reserve and the last fuel indicator bar starts blinking when there is around 7 liters fuel left in the tank. Generally, 10-12% of the total fuel capacity is determined as the reserve capacity.
