• Q. I bought my new Hyundai i20 petrol last month, dealer advised not to exceed speed more than 80kmph. When I drive my car 70 to 80kmph at 5th gear at 2200 RPM, it feels there is a dip in pickup. This feels uncomfortable while driving, what can be done any solution?

You are advised to drive your new car at economical speeds till the first service as the engine fuel lines takes some time to get adjusted and the pistons smooths out over time. Doing so will give you better overall performance and improved engine health. Moreover, you may engage with the gearbox a little more if you are facing challenges while driving. Just avoid sudden acceleration and higher RPMs.

No cost-cut base variant and range of options that’ll shame an expensive buffet -- Hyundai’s pushed the perception and price of premium hatchbacks up a few notches. A risky move, definitely, but so was it worth it?

I took posession of a new

I took possession of a new i-20 automatic sports version around 3rd week of nov 2023, Vehicle mileage is a serious let down, I am from banglore, My car is giving just around 7.6-8.0 (max) while driving in the city area.(even my earlier car hyundai xcent (which i exchanged for i-20) gave around 11km/ltr.This is such a serious issue now.My petrol bill has almost doubled.I also noted that it gave a max of 17km/ltr while driving on the highways (went from bangalore to mysore) best results were at 85-87km/hr speeds.Otherwise it slides to 16.3-16.5, This is the biggest draw back of this car.Rest everything works fine, Barring occasional issues with blue tooth pairing, Also initial pic-up is bit tardy.I am told most automatic behave similarly.I took my car to service center to enquire about the mileage issue.I am told after 4800 km.Mileage will improve.(i am not sure what magic is going to happen).I have around 4100 km now.Waiting to hit 4800km and see what happens. So guys pls do not believe any figures given by dealers.Check mileage of other similar vehicles thoroughly before going for i-20.Best wishes, Suresh.C.

  • futuristic driving experience it offers!

The giving nature of this figure has made a deep print on me. I am in love with the Hyundai i20's slice- edge features and futuristic look. The fact that it offers a smooth and pleasurable driving experience makes it perfect for tech- expertise ists. I like the emotive performance and ornamental innards of the i20. With this hatchback, Hyundai has completely embraced the future, and I find myself pulled to its design because of the slice- edge and futuristic driving experience it offers!
