• Q. I bought my Jeep Compass Sports Plus Diesel 2.0 on June 2019. My car has BS4 engine and while selling the showroom said, it’s BS6 compliment. Can you explain what does that mean? Because none of the people in the showroom shows any interest after the car is sold. How is it going to impact my car, once BS6 fuel comes to the market? 1. Do I have to be careful, whether it’s BS4 compliant fuel, while refilling? 2. Does any parts needs to be changed to make it compliment to BS6 fuel? If so who is going to bear the cost, since my car is just 6 months old?

You don't need to do anything, BS4 diesel car can take BS6 diesel. BS6 fuel will be already loaded with additives so no issue of injector lubrication. From environment point of view, even after putting BS6 fuel your car will not be so much less polluting as the catalytic converters in your car are BS4 compliant

No change at all. When ever any “Bharat Stage”(BS) fuel launches in market, it automatically can be compatible for all its lower versions.
