    No. Airbags, ABS and most other safety equipment CANNOT be fitted later. The vehicle is engineered for this from body shell upwards. So several vehicles need to be crash tested to install these. To the best of my knowledge, ONLY TATA has it's own crash testing facility in India. Everyone else sends their car to hired facilities or outsources the testing.This is one of the reasons that Tata cars are the SAFEST!

    You can have airbags installed in your car around a price of 400,000 or more out depends from where you get them installed but the minimum price is 4 lakh and I can guarantee you they are not successful and you can also lose the guarantee given by company because they will open up your car fully. I think you should not take the risk of getting your car open outside anywhere. So please drop this idea
