Does xuv 500 has clutch plate problem often?

I had a similar clutch problem at 25000km . Had to spend a bomb This is my fifth car and never ever had any problems in previous makes of cars !!!Now at 65000 km again that problem has occured !!!They will try to convince me that I don't know how to drive after 30 years of Driving numerous brands....but This will definitely be my last Mahindra car for ever...that I am sure...

I also had similar problem clutch plate burnt within 1700km brand new vehicle.. I have been driving other car for last 25 yrs never even changed any clutch plate in any of my 3 cars and XUV 500 W11(o) its given way within 20 days of purchase.. poor quality control...Must go for any Japanese cars they have good quality control...

I have XUV 500 W4. Within 5 years, I have had the clutch problem twice. The last one came yesterday and I had to get the car lifted by crane. I was with family and was a horrible experience. If after paying so much they can't fix a simple issue, I would say XUV is not worth buying. It's a complete failure !!

Hi, at 20k Km i had to get my XUV's front brake pads changed & today at 27k km my clutch suddenly got jammed. It turns out i have to get whole of my clutch assembly changed including clutch plate & pressure plate. I have never seen this kind of issue in any other car/suv. My car is only 3.5 years old & as u can see i dont also use it much often. As they are friction parts, no warranty or any kind of help will be available. Im getting it done from outside now. i have lost faith in Mahindra service.

Hi, I own this car from past 3.5years(driven more than 65,000 kms) and have not faced any major issues till now. And no, there is no problem as such in clutch plate. Also, the car comes with 3 years warranty(can be extended to 5 years) and any major built issue will be resolved by the authorized service center for free. Thanks

I had to replace my cluth plates once but thats ok. The other parts are quite robust. Nothing else except clutch has ever disappointed me. The clutch once left me stranded with my family but rsa service by mahindra is quite robust. They made the necessary arrangements.
