Q. Does buying the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI make sense in 2019-20 or should I wait for the next generation Honda City? Also, which motor is more fun, the 1.2tsi or the 1.5ivtec?

I think the choice of buying is upto you since you have to be very absolute with your requirements and also both of these cars belong to different segments respectively. But in terms of engine both TSI and i-vtec petrol engines are the best available in the country. If your preference is only about fun to drive it's better to choose TSI engine as it is much more punchy and kicks off anything. And if you wish for a smooth and nice comfortable drive you can opt for i-vtec engine.
