    It would be unfair to give a verdict here as the engine's life would depend on certain factors such as timely maintenance, driving conditions, proper care of the engine bay, etc. Moreover, the diesel engine's life is generally estimated for ten years.

    Diesel engine of VW Polo is very excellent. I have been using it for more than 1.6 Lakh km. Does notshow and sign of decrement in any aspect. Still it's peppy and mileage figures are more than 20 km most of the times. 1.5 TDI are reliable engines for VW.
