Mohan | 5 years ago41 ReplyI drove triber to nelliyampathy a hilly region in kerala steep offroad without a single power lag. I didn't remember an underpowered situation with 7 persons in it. Its performance is much more than omni 800 maruti 800 nano wagon r k10b normal engine. Price wise also a 7 seater triber is a lucky buy than 22 lakhs innova and 12 lakhs ertiga. Company knows well how to manage in steep hilly roads with full load. Envious people please don't die hard
Prasoon | 6 years ago24 ReplyNo way. First of all if you have 7 passengers you won't have any room for luggage. Regarding power, it depends on the road; if you have p*t holes and have to stop and crawl, I wouldn't recommend that. I tried with 4 adults in such conditions but I had to turn off a/c quite often. It is extremely unrefined engine for this purpose. In my experience it is only good for highways. City mileage is in single digits!
Krishanvir | 5 years ago5 ReplyKwid is good with 999cc engine ,and rate too,i don't say it won't run ,on plane roads you put 800cc it will run, always load, temp, fuel consumption plays a vital role, but once space is increased you drive alone or with 4 passenger AC has to work hard thus loading engine,so partial increase of 200 cc could have played magic .u will see after this company will launch 1200 0r 1400 cc after this with 7 seater, that is business strategy .
Vipin | 4 years ago13 ReplyI used Triber AMT with 5 Adults 3 Kids & Our Luggages on Hill areas of Vagamon and Thekkady, It climbed well, the suspension is commendable at this price point, About the Engine, it is off-course noisy when you climb steep upwards due to the AMT gear box and but yes it did its work well and carried us throughout the trip hassle free, Air Conditioning was continuously ON throughout my trip. To be honest we all the 8 passengers we were not tired with trip, i was driving on speed of 60-80 @ 2500 rpm, which gave me the avg of 13.2 / Liter in this entire trip. Conclusion : YES , Renault Triber Can climb hills with AC and 7 passenger with luggage.
Jagadish | 5 years ago46 Reply@ Satya | It's not good don't try to climb. It will made life in danger. Suspension is too much worst. Small hole not suffer. It hits the platform of car. Horrible car. 4 time's breakdowns within a year of purchase. My car is in service centre
Triber is not as bad as your English..use it like a 5 seater extreme need use 2 more seats..are you running a transport co to fill it with people and luggage .you want a fortuner with 6 lakhs ?it's ground clearance is 190 how can platform get hit unless you are driving on boulders stupid. Buy a hummer you liar.

When an alto thats much a lesser cc car and take 4 people with luggage on hills of shimla than defiantly triber can.By the way for many people's kind information in fact alto is the most popular car in hills.Regarding that idiot cc flaunting trends its only to fan your status .Who does a road rally with family onboard an SUV....sab moh maya hai ..no one tries driving at a speed of more than 100 kmph with family...and on hills 50kmph is speed...no matter even if you are driving a jaguar it has to go 30 kmph..

Krishanvir | 5 years ago0 ReplyTo cut cost and make market ,they are doing like this,i won't recommend even with four passenger ,though in side space is good but power is very poor just waste of money.
RajanJR | 2 years ago0 ReplyAre all these ghats people have driven on, similar to the ones in Ooty / Coonoor? We will be 3 passengers. planning on driving mid-June.It's the high-end AMT (with both manual and AMT) - don't want to get stuck up on the hills. Also, driving up hill on manual mode - does it make a difference in the pulling power?
Basant | 6 years ago3 ReplyNo, very bad experience ....it was not able to climb even with 2 passenger and 1 toddler. You need atleast 1200cc car. Never faced any issue with my previous Swift.
