Q. Can the recent dwindling sales of Marazzo be attributed for the lack of M8 offering from Mahindra? Will Mahindra rectify this and offer the M8 variant in 2021?

Mahindra Marazzo is now offered in three trims: M2, M4 and M6 while the top-spec M8 variant has been axed from the lineup. Despite being the new fully loaded Marazzo variant, the M6 misses out on features from the M8 such as leather upholstery, cooled illuminated glove box, an extra USB slot as well as Android Auto and Apple Carplay. However, the top-spec variant is also up to Rs 1.18 lakh more affordable than before. The Mahindra Marazzo has carved out a nice niche for itself, right between the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Toyota Innova Crysta. It’s a pukka 7- /8-seater and has all the goodies a modern family would require. Moreover, the reason could be ill-equipped lower variants, no automatic transmission and no petrol engine on offer.
