*Magnite Wheel Tyre upgrade guide* For anyone wanting to upgrade their Magnite wheels / tyres, I have found the best solution, the hard way! The Magnite's OEM wheels are 16 x 4, 5.5J ET 35 PCD 100. If you like the look of the OEM rims, leave the 195/60 OEM tyres on it! 205s on a 5.5' rim is not a great idea. I have gone for 205/60/R16 and Wheels with an offset of 20 / ET20. So again, the perfect wheel upgrade is 16 x 4 (PCD100) 6 - 6.5J ET20. Tyre 205/60/R16. 'IF' you want that macho look and like to 'race', buy zero or even slightly negative offset wheels but tyres, I would still suggest 205s. If you really desperately want 215/55s, then check them thoroughly before you buy! FULL turn left and right, with 4 people sitting inside! And 215/60/R16 does not fit so don't even try!!_

You may go for a big sized tyre but upsizing the size of a tyre is increasingly becoming an obsession with people to create an added visual appeal to their car. Moreover, It is advisable to go for an upgrade anywhere between the 3% margin for better performance and handling, increased grip and creating a visual appeal. Do take note that upsizing the wheels and tyres may decrease the fuel efficiency of the car and may result in a speedometer error on the car if upsizing is not correct. Dear Dilip Kumar or anyone who knows, I am all set to buy the Nissan Magnite but logical or not I want to put 215/xx/R16 tyres on it. The sole dealer in Bangalore, one Surya Nissan, is refusing to share the rim width with me. The last time I went there I forgot to check! Does anyone know the rim width of the OEM Mag Wheel? I'm hoping it's 7J but they are not telling for some reason so I feel it may be less!

Buy 16 X 6.5 , zero or even 'slightly' negative offset rims and 215/60/R16 tyres. The offset will help to clear the suspension strut and it will look great and hug the road. Be aware that this will imperceptibly affect the speedometer and mileage though. It may also void the warranty on some parts.

For anyone else in my shoes, I managed to find out. They aren't telling because the Magnite's OEM wheels are 16 X 5.5 ! So if you're looking to upgrade your tyres significantly, make sure you buy zero offset wheels (or even slightly negative offset) with preferably 6.5' rims which coincidentally are perfect for 215s. The offset will help to clear the suspension struts.

Hi, I have a Magnite Turbo CVT and absolutely love the looks of OEM rims, don’t want to change them at all. But looking for a fat tyre which fits them, which tyre size is suggested (keeping in mind that TPMS should continue working and no modifications to be done to the overall car)? 🙂

Hi Dilip kumar! Totally agree with you but I just drove a Tata Nexon with 215s and it was really fabulous! Hugs the road, corners really well and coincidentally looks great too! Is it a really bad idea or just unnecessary?

I am 99% buying a Nissan Magnite XV Premium Turbo, test drive tomorrow. I want to put 215 tyres on it as it hugs the road and stops dead when one brakes! Will 215s fit on it's OEM Alloy rims? Or is 205 the magic width?

You could go up to 7J on the wheel but 215 no way without body modification
