You're 5'11', which is a good height for riding motorcycles! However, whether the Yamaha R15 V4 is good for long rides for you specifically depends on a few factors: Factors to Consider: * Sporty Riding Position: The R15 V4 has a sporty, forward-leaning riding posture with clip-on handlebars. This can be tiring for some riders on long journeys, especially if you're not used to it. Your height might mean your knees are bent more sharply, and your reach to the bars a bit stretched, potentially causing discomfort in your wrists, back, and knees over time. * Seat Comfort: While the R15 V4's seat is reasonably comfortable for its class, it might not be the most comfortable for extended periods, especially for longer riders. * Wind Protection: The small windscreen offers some wind protection, but at your height, you might experience more wind blast at higher speeds, which can be tiring on long rides. What You Can Do: * Try it out: The best way to know if it's comfortable for you is to take an extended test ride. See if you can comfortably ride it for a couple of hours. * Consider modifications: If you like the bike but find it uncomfortable, you can make some modifications: * Handlebar risers: These can raise the handlebars, reducing the forward lean. * Windscreen extender: This can provide better wind protection. * Aftermarket seat: Some aftermarket seats offer better comfort and support.Alternatives:If comfort is a top priority for long rides, you might consider other styles of motorcycles: * Naked bikes: These generally have a more upright and relaxed riding position. * Adventure tourers: These are designed for long journeys and often have a more comfortable riding position, better wind protection, and luggage-carrying capabilities. In summary:At 5'11', you're definitely tall enough to ride the R15 V4. However, its sporty nature might make it less ideal for long rides without modifications. It really comes down to your personal preference and how you feel on the bike.Recommendation: * Test ride the R15 V4 extensively. * Consider the modifications mentioned above if needed. * If comfort remains a major concern, explore naked bikes or adventure tourers as alternatives.

The Seat height of R15 V4 is 815mm. A person with an average height of 5.11 ft can ride the bike with good comfort. Moreover, you can have a test ride of the bike for a better idea of comfort and ride quality by visiting the nearest dealer in your city. On the other hand, While the V4 looks different, its dimensions, including the seat height and wheelbase, are identical to the V3. So, unsurprisingly, pillion comfort is unchanged as the lower position for the stepped seat is maintained here too. However, the rider will be more comfortable here. The clip-on bars are positioned slightly higher and are now angled flatter, giving you a more relaxed seating posture which will prove valuable for everyday use and for longer rides.
