    Go for the 350 with fuel injection. It will be out soon. RE may be phasing out the 500 cc engine, if rumors are to be believed.

    If you are driving in city mostly, go for 350 cc as it won't make any difference but yes long drive or hill climbing or such purpose, 500 cc is better

Q. Planning to purchase a royal enfield, but am confused between the 350cc and the 500cc variant.i want to buy the standard variant for any of the model, as the classic series is too common on the streets these days. the new standard 350cc comes with electric start and disc brakes as per few videos on YouTube. however, loved the forest green colour of the standard 500. heard the 500cc is very expensive to maintain in the long run and unreliable compared to the 350cc.I'll be using the bike for mostly for daily commute as well as occasional weekend rides. please suggest.
