The 390 series has always made us question the need to go for higher capacity machines with its blend of performance, usability and ability to thrill on twisty roads. It came with its share of rough edges. The polarising styling, ergonomics, stiff suspension and that edgy, frantic motor was termed as character by some and inconvenience by others. The KTM 390 Duke has always come across as a value for money product and the new variant takes the VFM quotient a notch up as it looks a lot more irresistible now. While it may not be as quick as the earlier 390, it certainly is a lot more refined. The 390 Duke is a wild beast and is meant for a lot more experienced riders and thrill seekers. On the other hand, the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R3 comes with a 300cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin motor that is refined, powerful and tractable. Complementing the motor is a very capable chassis that feels just right regardless of whether you are in city traffic, touring or belting down the racetrack. The introduction of ABS dor 2018 adds Rs 23,000 to the cost of the previous version, but for that you also get stickier Metzeler Sportec M5 tyres.Read More: - 2017 KTM 390 Duke: Road Test Review: https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/2017-ktm-390-duke-road-test-review/28954/

Duke 390 will be good in a proper price segment yes Duke 390 wants update very soon and soon but if you don't update there won't be any problem and the Yamaha R3 sucks lot of petrol and even much expensive from Duke 390 which comes for price tag of 300000 on road in Bangalore

If you want one time investment go for r3. Duke 390 engine gets heated very fast it breaks down in middle if its gets over heated. Yamaha R3 is worth every penny you put w8 for 2019 R3 and buy that one you will not regret it in your life
