How long can we ride the Yamaha YZF R15 V3 at stretch without feeling any discomfort?

Question

Arjun · Accepted Answer

Once you get used to the proper technique for riding, you wont feel discomfort regardless of the distance. This morning I went for a short Sunday ride and did about 200+ km. The key is to learn to grip the tank with your legs and keep your arms and wrists fully relaxed. This may take some time but you will get used to it with constant practice. Also, while riding you can change your seating position now and then from upright to closer to the tank. This will give your body a rest from keeping the same position for too long. The comfort of a sports bike depends on a persons fitness levels. A good way to improve fitness for biking is to develop core muscles by doing planks, legs with lunges and upper body with pushups.

If you are new to such a posture ,you will feel pain after 40 km but if you are already familiar with aggressive posture you can easily do 200km without any discomfort... it also depends on the type of road and traffic. On highways you can even do more than 200km but in city 100km will me more than enough.

You can ride this bike atleast max 300 to 400 km feeling without any discomfort. If your new to riding this bike then starting you feel wrist pain and little back pain. Once you get adjusted you won't feel anything and you gonna feel awesome. Even the roads also matters for this bike.

M · Answer

It all depends on where you are riding and on what type of roads, I have driven practically all forms of Indian City, Urban and Rural Roads and hence advise with this bike you can drive to at least 100 to 150 Kms with ease and comfort. Beyond that it starts to discomfort you not because of the bike but because of the roads and traffic system.
