  • Q. Any Aprilia SR 160 owners heard a whistling sound from the front wheel? If yes please share your experience.

    Yes. It comes from the front wheel. Very much irritating and attention diverting while driving. We had taken up this matter with their Service station at Kolhapur. It was blurted out that it is due to the design problem of the model. The fellow at the service station greased it. For some time the sound stopped but again it has started. It starts all of a sudden and stops on its own. Why can't the Seller/Manufacturer rectify this problem? How to get this problem addressed? We paid top dollar for the vehicle. In return this is what we get!!

    I have the same problem, the squeaking sound irritates me. I even feel awkward in front of people when I'm riding. I searched everywhere google to youtube and I think its a fuel pump problem which is giving that whistling sound. Its not the brakes for sure. One more problem is the fuel gauge. Is it really Italian ?

    its a nice scooter in shape but its actually a beast in nature. never come take this for having thw experience of riding a scooter, even though it looks like ine its actually a bike. The way you sit and all is just like riding a bike. it has best pickup among all scooters. it easily maneuverable through traffic. its so confident to take it through corners without getting hesitating.
