It depends on your needs, Fazer had better aerodynamic because of extra fibre which is better for long rides but in city it attracts more scratches. In city or mixed use FZ is better and more practical choice.
Both the model have same 149 cc fuel injection engine; only difference is the headlight part
Both have same engine only little difference I n design
Being a Fazer FI V2 owner for the past 1 year, i would suggest you to go for Apache 160. Bcz in terms of Power, Pickup, ride comfort & styling, & now ABS also available. But if you want a reliable & under powered engine, smooth ride , u can go fa FZ-S Ver 3.0. Unfortunately, FAZER FI -V2 sales is stopped now to increase the sales of FZ-s,MT-15, & R15.
It depends on ur views. Apache is a fun machine but the charm of it wear out soon. Where as Fazer is a no Nonsense bike which does it duty well and it continues for years.
APACHE is better as Fazer is bit costly in every aspect. Price to maintenance. While TVS Apache RTR 160 is better to ride and gives a good power punch when riding. FAZER IS A STREET SPORTS BIKE. A STREET BIKE WEARING SPORTS BIKE OUTFIT.
My FAZER FI V2 performs really well. Not only FAZER, once u stick with your bike it'll make u feel happy. That Man-Machine feel should be there. If u go slow (b/w 50-60) u'll get a reasonable mileage of 45-50, if u push harder (b/w 70+) u'll get a mileage of 35. As our ZW members mentioned above, if u aren't mind about below points then Fazer is ur choice.1.NO ABS (Single channel or Dual)2.NO Rear Disc3. NO FRONT & REAR LED ( Front-Halogen is provided & Rear- Regular Bulb)4. NO HAZARD Switch, 6th gear, etc.5.Bike would feel little heavy over FZ-S because of its Faired nature. It'll be lil difficult to take short turns
The Bike is Good for daily use and Even long rides...But dont expect much power and pikup Compared to bikes like gixxer. But it have good milage and a top speed of 127 kmph upto my experience. Even though its half faired bike...it looks pretty good . And Maintaining is also Easy. The bike will Automatically adapt to the way you ride it weather its rough or Calm..
FAZER IS A GOOD OPTION IF YOU WANT A BIKE FOR STABILITY AND GOOD PERFORMANCE. But i would suggest you to go for FZ FI as both are same when it comes to the above two. Rest is your choice.
FZ is far better than its faired counterpart. You get the same engine spec, brake etc in both of them. So, its good to go for the Naked version because its handling in narrow roads and in traffic would be better in comparison.
Fzs is a good one be it carburetted or fuel injected
Fz S would be a better bikes as fazer faring adds up to the weight over the bike which hampers the performance a little
Yes. it is better for taller people for balancing and road dominance. I am 6ft and I find it comfortable to ride compared to Honda Activa ( all generations) , Aviator ,Dio , Burgman, Access (new) , Jupiter and Duet and maestro.
Yes, but it will take some time getting used to. I am 5'10" and I don't face much trouble during short rides. For long rides, you will have to make stops every hour or so. Hope this helps!!
Yes,i am 5’7 and I have been riding the bike for the last 4 years including,I have also done some long trips like mumbai-Aurangabad and Mumbai-pune with no issues
