Vespa SXL 150 BS6 Latest Updates

Piaggio showcased the entire range of the BS6-compliant Vespa scooters at Auto Expo 2020. For 2020, the new scooters get an LED headlamp. Vespa will launch the scooters in the second quarter of 2020. Alongside the BS6 lineup, Vespa also introduced the Racing Sixties 150cc scooter at Auto Expo 2020. It gets a unique paint scheme inspired by 1960’s race livery. Head here for more information. The iconic Vespa is much sought-after because of its funky design and reasonably powerful engine.

Last year, Vespa equipped its scooters with smartphone connectivity. Called the Vespa Connectivity app, it lets users access their scooter’s details like service history and last-parked location on their smartphones. The Panic Alert feature helps the user to reach out to the pre-set emergency contact with the current location, should anything unfortunate occur.

The Vespa SXL and VXL 150 are powered by a BS6 compliant and fuel-injected 154.8cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor. Working in conjunction with a CVT unit, the motor pushes out 10.4PS and 10.6Nm. Brakes include a 220mm front disc and a 140mm rear drum. The scooters ride on 110/70-11 front and 120/70-10 rear tyres shod on alloy wheels.

The Vespa SXL 150 and VXL 150 does not have any direct competition. The closest competitor is the Yamaha Fascono 125 BS6
