KTM 250 Adventure Price

KTM is now asking Rs 2,54,483 (ex-showroom Delhi) for its entry-level 250 Adventure. You are now paying Rs 2,560 extra for the bike.

250 Adventure Specifications

Powering the 250 Adventure is a 248.8cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine. This is the same motor that one finds on the 250 Duke as well as the Husqvarna 250s. No change to the engine tune, it still churning out 30PS and 24Nm. The six-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist clutch remain untouched. The split tubular steel trellis frame is suspended at both ends by long-travel WP Apex suspension units. A 19-/17-inch alloy wheel setup is pretty basic for an adventure tourer. Bybre braking units are straight away lifted from the 390 Adventure.

250 Adventure Design

There are no differences in the styling department of the 250 Adventure to its elder sibling the 390 Adventure. The sharp tank extensions, tall, flat seat and long tail section are all the same. The 250 Adventure is available in two colours: orange/black and black/orange.

250 Adventure Features

Much like the 250 Duke, the 250 Adventure also gets a halogen headlamp and an LCD cluster -- no fancy LED headlight or TFT dash here. The rest of the lighting systems are LED lit. There is also a 12V charging socket to charge your mobile devices on the go.

KTM 250 Adventure Competitors

The KTM 250 Adventure sits in between the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the BMW G 310 GS.

Editor's View of KTM 250 Adventure

  • Upside

One of the smoothest KTM single-cylinder engines on sale. 19-/17-inch wheel setup gives better confidence when going over rough roads.

  • Downside

It is pricey. Lacks LED headlight and TFT screen. No change in engine tune from Duke sibling.

The ktm 250 adventure's 248.8cc engine is identical to the one in the ktm 250 duke and the husqvarna 250s, Down to the state of tune (30hp/24nm).Paired to a six-speed gearbox, It has the same gear ratios as well, And the end result is a familiar riding experience. While accelerating, The engine only begins to come alive post 4, 000rpm, With a notable surge after 7, 500rpm, And all the way to the 10, 500rpm limiter. Our vbox tests confirm that despite weighing more than the husqvarna 250s, The difference in acceleration is minimal.

Q. What is the service travel & service cost?
  • For this, we would suggest you to get in touch with the authorised service centre as they will assist you better with your concern. You can check service centres here.
Q. Is kick start available in KTM 250 Adventure?
  • KTM 250 Adventure is offered with self start only.
Q. Can KTM 250 Adventure ride on/off road with ease?
  • The better fuel efficiency, lower price tag for the 250 Adventure make it a more sensible choice for many riders. However, it is a motorcycle that demands you to adapt to its nature and needs, rather than the other way around. This KTM feels at ease covering ground at a healthy pace, with the digital display reading between 90-100kmph. The engine is smooth and the most responsive between 5 - 6500rpm getting from between 80kmph to 100kmph comfortably. From the engine standpoint, the 250 Adventure is a far friendlier motorcycle to get going with on rough roads. Despite the change in power delivery, the 250 delivers its torque in a much more predictable and manageable manner. In the city, the Adventure feels like the Duke on stilts. The engine is zippy and likes to be worked, and considering the slick six-speed gearbox and light clutch, you don’t mind doing so at all. The sense of quickness is also because of the way the KTM steers .Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Q. What is the on the road price of KTM Duke Adventure 250? What is the difference between Duke Adventure 390 and Duke Adventure 250?
  • The KTM 250 Adventure has been priced at Rs 2.48 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), undercutting its bigger sibling, the KTM 390 Adventure, by around Rs 50,000. The bike is powered by an 248.8cc single-cylinder engine that makes 30PS and 24Nm with no changes expected to the bike’s gear ratios or the final drive. On the other hand, the 390 Adventure is powered by the same 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that produces 43.5PS and 37Nm of torque on the Naked 390 Duke. The engine works in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch and a standard quickshifter for the India-spec model.
