Q. I am looking for the best bike for my needs. I want one i can drive in the city. My wife rides with my on my bike and wants something to handle to bad roads and speed breakers better. Also we want to ride on long road trips and bring luggage. Don't know which is best BMW G310GS, Himalayan, or the 390 Adventurer. I like the low seat on the Himalayan that my wife could drive it. However it seems too heavy and not enough power. The BMW looks great but seems the suspension is too soft and brakes are week and the electronic package is pretty lame. I don't want anything more than 200kg bike.
  • As per city rides as well as touring, the most suitable option would be Royal Enfield Himalayan. The bike has sufficient specifications and power. The performance is good enough for every type of ride. For a detailed comparison, follow the below link - Compare. Moreover, you can have a test ride of the bikes for a better idea of comfort and ride quality by visiting the nearest dealer in your city. Q. Why should one consider a G 310 GS against a much cheaper and more powerful KTM 390 Duke which is already proven?
  • Good question but only if seen thru the lens of price and power. The baby GS offer much more in terms of its offroading ability. Were the KTM 390 available in an ADV avatar, the baby GS would have stood no chance.
  • 310 is a adventure bike if your traveling long distace go for 310 or else go for ktn simple
  • I Don't Think
