Features: Hyundai offers the Venue with numerous features, such as LED projector headlights, puddle lamps, a powered driver’s seat, single-tone ambient lighting, an electric sunroof, Bluelink connected car tech with over 60 functions, telematics switches on IRVM, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, auto-dimming IRVM, auto headlamps, Home to Car with Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two-step rear-seat recline, driving modes (Normal, Eco, and Sport), paddle shifters, a wireless phone charger, USB Type-C ports, and cruise control. Also on offer are a range of safety features, namely 6 airbags (standard), electronic stability programme (ESP), brake assist, hill assist control, ABS with EBD, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The Venue is equipped with Level 1 ADAS.

Engine: Powering the Venue is the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 PS and 114 Nm and a 1-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor that generates 120 PS and 172 Nm. Additionally, there is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine generating 116 PS and 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Rivals: The Hyundai Venue takes on the likes of the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Skoda Kylaq, and Kia Syros. It also rivals the crossover competitors, such as the Maruti Fronx and Toyota Taisor.

Variants: The Hyundai Venue has eight broad trims: E, S, Executive, S+, S(O), SX and SX(O). There is a Knight edition limited to the S(O), SX and SX(O) variants and an Adventure edition limited to the S(O)+, SX and SX(O) variants. Both of these variants get cosmetic tweaks. In colours, you get six monotone shades including Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Denim Blue, Atlas White and Abyss Black. For dual-tone, the Fiery Red can be had with an Abyss Black roof. The Knight edition gets similar shades except for the monotone Denim Blue and Typhoon Silver. The Adventure edition gets a monotone: Ranger Khaki and 3 dual-tone shades: Ranger Khaki, Atlas White and Titan Grey paired with a black roof, exclusive to it.
