I am 52 and have been riding an Aerox for the last 1.5 years. I use it primarily for school drops and pickups. Before this, I was riding an Activa 125. I was tired of the Activa’s performance with a pillion.Pros Eye-catching maxi-scooter design and proportions. 90% R15-like engine performance. VVA works like a charm; the real performance comes wh en VVA kicks in around 65+1kph. Large 14” alloys look great and make handling almost like a motorcycle. Handling is very sharp and perfectly matches its engine performance. Mileage is very good; even though I always like to rev it high, it is always above 38 kmpl. Never tested the top speed, but I have done around 95–96 kph many times, and it is very1comfortable at those speeds. It never feels underpowered, even with a pillion. With a pillion, performance drops slightly, but it is never underpowered. Almost no one moves faster than you in city traffic conditions. Cons absolutely mismatched front and rear suspension: the front suspension bottoms out easily, and the rear suspension is as solid as a rock. The rear suspension sends feedback to your spine even for minor1road imperfections. Brakes are not up to the mark. The front brake is just okay, but the rear drum brake barely exists. It is crying for a rear disc brake. The seat is also not up to the mark. The rider is always sliding towards the front, and the pillion seat doesn't have adequate cushioning and is also very small.Verdict Despite its many flaws, when you sit on it and twist the throttle, you immediately forget all of them and sink into its pure, high-revving performance.
