As a tech enthusiast and environmentally conscious citizen who appreciates sustainability and cutting edge technology in all facets of life, the iX aligns with my principles. Driving in cities is made trustworthy by its robust construction. A comfortable journey is offered to everybody by the opulent furniture and modern amenities. The performance and environmental friendliness of the iX make it worthwhile even if it is more pricey. Differentiating it is its electric powertrain. Every travel with the iX is enjoyable and environmentally beneficial because of its quiet, all-electric motor and long-range battery.

Our recent family vacation to the hills of Manali in the BMW iX was an eye opener to the future of travel. The iX’s dual motor setup delivers around 516 hp, ensured a powerful and seamless drive through both cities and mountains. The acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 5 seconds was particularly impressive while overtaking on highways.The interior of the iX is a tech marvel. The panoramic sunroof, spacious seating and dual curved screens added to the futuristic feel. The Harman Kardon sound system deserves a special mention it was like having a concert on wheels.

The BMW iX is a fully electric SUV that prioritizes luxury, performance, and a spacious interior. The iX provides a futuristic and luxurious interior with high-quality materials, a spacious cabin with comfortable seating for five, and a focus on technology. It is fully loaded with features like a curved touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The price starts from around ₹ 1.21 crore (ex-showroom). Talking about charging facility there is generally a problem in finding charging infrastructures . Maintenance costs for BMW vehicles can be on the higher side compared to some other brands.

The BMW iX is nothing short of revolutionary. Ever since I brought this electric beast home, it has been turning heads. Its futuristic design and outstanding performance redefine what electric vehicles (EV) can be. With a range of approximately 480 km and a power output that can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just under 5 seconds the iX has made me rethink that it is great and environment friendly vehicle.The interior is with a minimalist design that screams luxury. However adapting to an all electric lifestyle has its challenges, particularly the charging infrastructure in India which can be a hassle.
