- I think it is better for you to buy 7 series if you want comfortable car and 8 series for sports
- Bmw 8 series are not convertible as they are not made for thrill rides and high end performance. 8 series as well as 7 series are the symbol of luxury, comfort, convenience and safety. so they are just provided with a panoramic sunroof. if you are a fan in concertible the go for z series
- The 8 Series convertible is available but not here in India :)
- It will have a sunroof top but not a full open top

8 Series Key Highlights
Features: The BMW 8 Series’ feature list includes wireless Apple CarPlay, a premium sound system, ambient lighting, a sunroof, cruise control, adaptive LED headlamps, powered front seats, drive modes as well as adaptive suspension. It gets safety features such as eight airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control and electric parking brake.
Engine: The 8 Series is offered with two engine options depending on the version you pick. The Gran Coupe comes with a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that develops 340PS and 500Nm, while the M8 packs in a 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 engine that develops 600PS and 750Nm. The standard variant drives the rear wheels while the M8 drives all four wheels. Both variants come mated to BMW’s 8-speed automatic transmission.
Rivals: The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe locks horns with the Mercedes-Benz CLS while the M8 goes up against the Mercedes-AMG S63.
Variants: The BMW 8 Series is offered in a total of three variants: the four-door Gran Coupe and Gran Coupe M Sport Edition, and the two-door M8. BMW offers plenty of customisation options on all three models, including different paint options, alloy wheels and even interior trim designs.
