BMW R 12

Price: The BMW R 12 is priced at Rs 19,90,000 (ex-showroom) and it is available in Blackstorm Metallic, Avus Silver Metallic and Adventure Red Metallic.

Features: The R 12 gets a single-pod analogue instrument console and the bike comes equipped with features like ean sensitive ABS, traction control, engine drag torque control, tyre pressure monitoring system, USB charging port and adjustable clutch and brake levers. It has two riding modes: Rock and Roll.

Engine: The BMW R 12 nineT is powered by a 1170cc, air/oil-cooled, twin-cylinder boxer engine producing 95PS at 6500rpm and 110Nm at 6000rpm. It has a claimed maximum speed of 203kmph.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The suspension setup of the R 12 consists of a 45mm inverted fork (rebound adjustable) and a paralever swingarm with a monoshock (preload adjustable). The braking setup of the bike consists of twin 310mm front disc brakes with radially mounted 4-piston monobloc callipers and a single 265mm disc at the rear with a 2-piston floating calliper. It gets a 100-section front tyre with a 19-inch wheel and a 150-section rear tyre with a 16-inch wheel.

Rivals: The BMW R 12’s rivals are the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster, Harley-Davidson Nightster and the Indian Scout Classic.
