Bajaj Discover 110 FAQs
Discover 110 Key Highlights
Features: Ever since its inception, the Bajaj Discover 110 has seen many design changes over the years. It continues to sport a no-nonsense commuter design, with a bit of sportiness. A prime example of this is its muscular front end. Bajaj hasn't skimped out on features and equipped it with LED DRLs and a semi-digital instrument cluster which gets readouts for speed, fuel gauge, odometer and trip meter.
Engine: Powering the motorcycle is a 115.45cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which churns 8.6PS of power at 7000rpm and 9.8Nm of torque at 5000rpm, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. On the go, the engine feels refined and mostly free of vibrations. It also makes the highest torque in its segment, which is enough to chug along in city traffic without any hassle. Suspension hardware here consists of telescopic forks at the front and a gas-charged rear suspension, which does offer a supple ride even over broken roads. However, we would’ve liked some more feedback from its front and rear drum brakes, along with an optional disc unit.
Rivals: Hero Passion Pro: For Rs 3,636 more, the Hero Passion Pro offers a bit of extra power and the i3S system, which helps in extracting higher fuel efficiency. Other than that, both the Discover 110 and the Passion Pro seem evenly matched on paper. However, the Hero motorcycle is yet to be updated with CBS - something which the Discover 110 already offers. Honda Dream Yuga: The Bajaj Discover 110 undercuts the Honda Dream Yuga by almost Rs 2,000 (Rs 1,813 to be precise) and offers additional features like a semi-digital instrument cluster and LED DRLs. The Discover 110 also makes marginally more power (8.6PS) compared to the Dream Yuga (8.3PS). Yamaha Saluto RX: While the Yamaha Saluto RX is a bit cheaper than the Discover 110, you do miss out on some modern features and have to settle for lesser power too. We recommend paying a bit extra and opting for the Discover instead.
