Skoda Kodiaq 2024

Skoda India will be launching the next-generation of the Kodiaq by June 2025, and this has been confirmed by their brand director. The new generation of the flagship SUV was revealed last year. It features a new cabin, revised styling for the exterior and some new features. The 2025 Kodiaq is expected to get a slightly more powerful 204 PS 2-litre turbo-petrol engine.

Skoda Kodiaq 2024 Key Highlights

Features: The feature list includes a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ambient lighting, a branded audio system, powered front seats, ventilated and heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger and USB Type-C fast chargers. Safety features consist of up to 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist. It also gets ADAS features like blind spot monitoring, parking assist, and automated emergency braking.

Engine: Globally, the 2024 Kodiaq is offered in multiple powertrain options, which include a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid TSI with the output of 150PS/250Nm, a 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid TSI with the output of 204PS/350Nm, a 2-litre TSI with the output of 204PS/320Nm and a 2-litre TDI which is available in two tunes: 153PS/360Nm and 204PS/400Nm. The 1.5-litre mild-hybrid TSI and the 153PS 2-litre TDI come with a front-wheel-drive system paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission. On the other hand, the 2-litre TSI and the more powerful diesel engine offers an all-wheel-drive system with a 7-speed DSG. The 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid features a 6-speed AT with a front-wheel-drive system.

Rivals: In India, the 2024 Skoda Kodiaq will rival the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tiguan, Citroen C5 Aircross, and Jeep Meridian.
