his early days Richard Hamann was seen as a pilot and later in 1986 he founded Hamann Motorsport. By this day, engine tuning has become synonymous with his name. His love for cars was selfless, and tuned engines like the sound of music. As a racer, out of the 700 events he made an appearance in, he crossed the finish line in nearly 300 with 103 victories and three Touring Car trophies with a BMW M1.
Hamann Motorsport started off with tuning only German car manufactured engines (specifically BMWs) and owing to popular demand gradually it expanded to other car manufacturers. It now specializes not just in BMW but also other car makes like Lamborghini, Mercedes, Porsche, Aston martin, Mini, Ferrari, Land Rover, Maserati, Rolls Royce and more. The company deals in designing and building over the original parts, tuning engines, changing body panels to make the car look more aggressive, and modifying the tyres.
