The wait is over for eager eyes across the world that were waiting to get a glimpse of the fourth generation Honda CR-V as the car has made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The third generation Honda CR-V with its styling update is no doubt an attractive car, but to be honest its starting to look a bit dated. While the previous car had very decent on road manners the fourth generation Honda CR-V is built on an all-new platform for even better on-road capabilities.
Also, unlike the current version, which is imported to India as a CBU, Honda plans to assemble this new one locally, which would mean that we can expect the price to suddenly become much more affordable. The new Honda CR-V will be produced at Honda’s manufacturing plant in Swindon, UK and will go on sale in the U.S. on the 15th of December, 2011. The fourth generation CR-V is expected in India in 2012.
