You can not differentiate Sidan and SUV. Both are from different platform.Verna is for highway and city drive and seating posture is lazy/comfy. For comfy ride if roods are good and smooth. Not at all good for Off rood like Village road or pothole roads.Where Creta can do same highway and city but it can do decent off-road as well, seating style is up straight .Not much comfy as Verna but glide over pothole.

Both petrol & diesel versions of Verna are the fastest accelerating sedans in it's class along with the highest top speed. Petrol Verna looses out to Honda City by a whisker in terms of aural pleasure and overall flexibility while the diesel Verna has the best engine in it's class infact beats the rivals by a huge margin. No wonder, the 1.6 litre diesel is considered one of the best engine in the world. If you seek pure unadulterated performance without sacrificing fuel economy pick the diesel version.

Well you gotta decide you want a hatchback or a sedan. then you should compare and compare between the different companies as mostly companies have one model for a specific segment. i guess its all about the looks first and then the budget and features

Looking at the market trends Creta sells almost thrice the volumes of Verna.Although the power trains are same Changing customers preference is towards Compact SUVs and AWD SUVs and MUVs .So it is your choice You require a Sedan or SUV .Still in india 20% people buy SUVs and About 20% are buying Sedans and 49% are buying hatchbacks and rest are MUVs etc. So choose what you want Both are good cars

Creta is a SUV and Verna is a seden....both the cars are very nice and both the cars have almost same specifications and I hate one thing in verna, that's tue boot space because the boot lid hinges are so long and those hinges covers most of tge boot space. Dont take my words....go and take the test ride of both the cars and decide!!!!!

Now that is a tricky question!! Infact both belongs to completely different segments. Verna has few aces up it's sleeve like heated seats & complete new silhouette. While Creta has a good commanding presence being a SUV, enginewise it is totally the same with verna. So choose by which body style do you prefer.
