  • Q. How is the back space of this car? Can 3 people sit?

Getting into the second row is no hassle either as the doors open 90 degrees and the high roofline makes it easy to step in without crouching. Once sat, the welcoming nature of the backseat is obvious. There is lots of room even for six-footers, and the seats, although a bit soft, are supportive too. The large glass area and the low window line make the cabin feel airy and apt for long journeys. While the flat floor adds to the flexibility, it won't really help in sitting three abreast because of the space constraint. Also, there is no headrest for the middle occupant and the seatbelt is a lap belt as well. In terms of equipment, the rear occupants get an armrest, but cupholders and power sockets are shared as they are placed on the console between the front seats. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test drive for a better understanding of performance and dring comfort. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.

  • Q. How is the off-road capability of Tata Punch?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 7 months ago

As expected of an urban SUV the Punch doesn’t feel unruly or unmanageable. All the controls like steering, clutch, brake and gearshifts are smooth and well-weighted, making it feel reassuring and easy to drive. Tata even shared figures like approach, departure and ramp-over angles (20.3, 37.6 and 22.2 degrees, respectively), which we could test on a track. The Traction Pro mode, which requires the driver to press the brake and accelerator when prompted, works like an electronic differential lock by transferring the torque from a spinning wheel to the one with traction, thus pulling through slippery conditions. The track, although designed for the Punch, did help instil a sense of confidence in its abilities. For a better understanding of performance, off-road compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. superb performance and build quality

If you have ever driven altroz petrol. If so, You will experience the same sensations while driving the tata punch. But there is a catch! it has slightly different front suspensions than what we saw in altroz. As a result, It performs better on bumpy roads. However, The rear suspension is identical to that of altroz and is also comfortable.Furthermore, The 187 mm of ground clearance allows you to drive through large potholes.

    • very heavy car in this segment

I have Tata Punch acc AMT. It is very heavy in this segment, initial pickup is slower than other. I get 170 kmph on highway. I do many off road trips with this car, It can't stuck anywhere. But one problem its mileage is very less on highway when you @60-70 kmph you get 13-14 kmpl and in city you get 9-10 kmpl.
