  • Q. How is honda amaze performance?

The petrol-powered Amaze makes sense only for those who do not like the diesel engine’s clatter and will not be driving their cars a lot. The diesel is quieter on the new Amaze, but it cannot hold a candle to the super quiet petrol. In terms of driveability, mileage, performance and long-term returns the diesel engine-powered variants still make sense. Amaze makes for a very capable and compelling compact sedan. And on the second front, there’s no doubt about it: Honda has taken the right steps to be respected and revered once more. So the Amaze sets new benchmarks in some areas, and impresses in others. The spaciousness and ride comfort are clear highlights, which is then backed with solid all round ability. • Q. Will it be ideal for family's occasional use - Amaze?

    Zigwheels | 4 months ago

Amaze sets new benchmarks in some areas, and impresses in others. The spaciousness and ride comfort are clear highlights, which is then backed with solid all-around ability. In our books the petrol engine’s appeal is limited, leaving the limelight to the diesel manual and CVT combinations. So, the Amaze has answered the two key questions quite well: this Honda deserves to sit at the front of the sub-4-metre pack. Despite the more sophisticated package and higher equipment levels, Honda has priced the Amaze at par. It’s a much more polished version of a car it once was. Ticks the basics of space, drivability and efficiency just right.Do take the test drive of the car to clear all your doubts.

  • Q. Which is the best model to buy honda amaze petrol?

We would suggest you to opt for its S trim as ticks all the basic features that are there in our books and some more. The Amaze S looks contemporary on the outside and the interiors feel premium because of the piano black and silver touches around the dashboard, AC vents and door trims. If you are on a budget and want the Automatic transmission then this trim will be an ideal choice for you. In our opinion Honda has got everything right with the S variant, be it the equipment or the price. Click on the link to know more: https://bit.ly/2vhawXv

  • Q. How is the Pick up in steep hilly areas ghat sections - Amaze?
    Kesiraju
    Kesiraju | 8 months ago

Yes it is best in the way .Amaze is best in drive dynamics .it has more power in diesel as well asin petrol than the top selling vehicles .The Torque is very important in hill steeps . You should get more torque at lower RPMs of engine. In Amaze delivers in Petrol – 110 Nm torque @ 4800 RPM,In Diesel delivers 200 Nm torque @ 1750 RPM , In Diesel CVT about 160 Nm of torque @ 1750 RPM is specifically trimmed . In Diesel CVT keeping the torque requirements it is trimmed to deliver a torque as above and 20% less power so it to stay no lag always . In diesel CVT you have L mode to get some options in Torque when you need . 1.2-litre petrol engine develops 90 BHP of power at 6000 RPM and 110 Nm of torque at 4800 RPM. I.e max power at high RPM and Max torque at Low RPMs . On the other hand, the 1.5-litre diesel engine gives out 100 HP of power at 3600 RPM and 200 Nm of torque at 1750 RPM.. Stay ahead of all

The V variant is the best value for money offer and can be had either in manual or CVT (in both petrol and diesel guise).

  • Q. Is that true about amaze , that it’s ground clearance is not good? It’s front axle stuck on the road crossing the brakers ?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 3 months ago

Amaze has the ground clearance on 170 mm which is decent for a compact segment car. The front axle hits the breakers when they are usually more in height. Under this situation, it is advised that the car should be taken over at low speed so as to avoid the touching.

Controlled pass on the breakers never caused me any problem so far. It’s ground clearance if 170 mm is one of the best in these segments

  • Q. How is the Amaze VX petrol in terms of performance, is it advisable to go for 1.2 liter petrol engine for usage of more city trips and occasional highway or hill trips with cabin and boot fully loaded also there are some negative reviews on the glove box that it is opening on its own when the car is riding on bad roads, is it so?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 6 months ago

For city driving, the Honda Amaze VX petrol will be a better pick. However, on highways Amaze petrol gets thirsty and you'll feel a lack of power. Though, as per your requirement, we would suggest you pick for Honda Amaze V CVT diesel as it is a well-rounded package for both city and highway cruising. Do take a test drive in order to clear all your doubts.

  • Q. Diesel or petrol which one is better for regular use up to100km/day - Amaze?
    Tapan

Petrol. This will give benefit of more cost of Diesel Car and the petrol cost difference is adjusted over a period of time say about five to six years. This is in comparison to the extra cost not borne by buying Diesel Car.
