The Magnite is offered with two petrol engines. The first is a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, also present in the Triber, that makes 72PS/96Nm. This engine can only be had with a 5-speed manual transmission. The second and more powerful option is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 100PS/160Nm. This engine too is available with a 5-speed manual transmission. Certain variants also get the option of a CVT, however, the torque figure in that case drops down to 152Nm. While that is an 8Nm difference, you'll be hard pressed to notice it in the real world.

The 1.0 liter turbo engine produces more amount of power and torque compared to the naturally aspirated B4D 1.0 litre engine.
