  • Q. What is the performance of 1.2 Petrol TSI Vento and whether to buy Vento Diesel Automatic or Petrol?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 3 months ago

The Volkswagen Vento 1.2-litre TSI petrol is not an efficient motor, the 1.6-litre MPI motor feels lazy. The diesel engine is quite loud in other terms the NVH levels are very high. The ride is not comfortable over the broke surfaces. if you are looking for a more intelligent and advanced transmission you can go with the 7 speed DSG transmission. The choice of a diesel motor or petrol motor solely depends on your utility.

  • Q. If a selection to be made between a Volkswagen Vento petrol manual or a Vento diesel manual, what should be the choice?

My choice would be a petrol manual. It depends on the use of the vehicle. If daily commute is your choice diesel would get you a little better mileage. I personally dont use for daily commute, the car is left in the garage for months. When i come to hometown i use it for long drives. So if a diesel is left like that i dont think it would get an easy start. Plus petrol engine would give a better punchy performance I believe.

  • Q. Which is better,Honda City CVT or Vento amt letting to engine performance.
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 9 months ago

Here Honda City would be a better pick. 1.5-litre petrol engine which generates 119PS of power and 145Nm of torque, mated to a 7-step CVT. The petrol City is among the most fuel-efficient automatic cars in its segment. At 18kmpl, it is about 2kmpl more efficient than the Verna petrol automatic, which has a claimed efficiency of 15.92kmpl. The Honda City facelift has been updated keeping in mind the requirements of the younger generation. The cosmetic changes make it look aggressive and sporty whereas the feature updates make it a better overall package than the current model. The updates will come at a premium with the fully loaded top-end variant shooting above Rs 13 lakh. The City continues to be the most desirable sedan in this lot. It’s got the looks, the tech and more importantly - that oh-so-illustrious ‘H’ badge on the grille. It’s fun to drive, and has enough space to shame cars from a segment above. Looking for a big car experience? Dial H for Honda. We would suggest you to take a test drive in order to clear your all doubts. Vento petrol is fun to drive...very good...but expensive to maintain approx 15-18k per service per 15000kms, less spacious, looks dated, low ground clearance, low mileage, DSG gearbox is highly unreliable.....

If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic and and like calm driving then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved & are more fun to drive on highways.

The Volkswagen vento for sure. The difference In handling and fun would be very different in both cars and the vento comes on top. I would also recommend you to try out the 1.6 petrol manual of the VW vento since you have a manual in your list

  • Q. I am confused between an automatic petrol car Vento, City or Verna.

    Sabyasachi | 2 months ago

City and Verna having CVT it's somewhat same technology of heartless scooty. However Vento is having latest German technology true automatic DSG (dual shift gears) based. Driving only in city will be comfortable on City and Verna. These are light vehicle and some what easy to maneuver. However if you are planning to drive long outside the city often, then Vento will be right choice as it is heavy, sturdy and much safer than other two makes. If you are Pro on technology but Vento but if you need to sell car often and need to get a good resale value then go for City and Verna. After sales services of Vento will be less average than other two.

  • Q. Vento vs Rapid which one is best in pickup
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 6 months ago

Considering the best pick up among the two here winner would be Skoda Rapid's diesel engine. A diesel motor is a four-cylinder unit that makes 110PS of power and 250Nm of torque. In comparison, Vento has the 1.5-litre diesel engine which pumps 105PS and 250Nm while it is not the most powerful car in its class. There’s not much to dislike about the Skoda sedan. With the facelift, it looks as premium as ever, and packs in more tech. If you feel the Vento is a bit out of reach, pick the Rapid. It’s practically the same package delivered with a smaller pinch to the wallet.Do take the test drive for both the cars in order to judge the ease, comfort and the driving experience.
