• Q. Myself 6 feet 1 inches tall and my wife 5 feet 1 inches tall. We are looking for the car, which we both can drive. Our final options are Creta SX Petrol Manual (~17 Lakhs) and Tata Nexon XZ+ (O) Petrol Manual (~13.5 Lakhs). I see the dimensions of both the cars are almost the same except for the length. So, Is Creta comfortable for short drivers (~5 feet)? (My wife couldn't take a test drive as my wife's DL test is still pending. But just by checking the driver seat feel, she felt she needed to stretch a bit to press clutch fully) If Creta is not a good option for short drivers, Is Tata Nexon XZ+ a worthy alternative? We ruled out XUV300 (Tiny Boot), Venue (Cramped Rear Seat), Kia Sonet (No top end Petrol Manual), Ecosport (We already have one in family, so doesn't want the same), Kia Seltos (Lesser Safety Features compared to Creta at the same price). Any other alternates we can try?

As per your requirements, the Nexon could prove to be a good option. The Tata Nexon, with the facelift, has become an even stronger contender. With the revised looks, more powerful engine and added features, it surely needs to be on the top of your consideration list. The hesitation remains because Tata still doesn't seem to have got over issues with parts quality, consistent reliability and some ergonomics. While Tata has made the Nexon an enticing product by pricing it aggressively, working out the chinks in its otherwise impressive armour would have made it the definite choice in its segment. On the feature front, the Nexon gets a three-spoke steering wheel and touchscreen infotainment from the Altroz as well as new features like cruise control, auto headlamps and wipers as well as connected car technology. It also comes with electronic stability control and i-RA voice assistant feature as standard. Read More: - 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift: Road Test Review
