My budget is 10-12 lakh. Want to go for diesel. Should I buy Hyundai Creta 1.4 e plus diesel or 1.4 s diesel?? Or should go for i20 active sx diesel? please help.

I20 is good but it is kind of dated now and sales are not that great because the introduction of VENUE which is built on the same platform of i20 active.. so instead of paying more for 1.4 lit creta and getting less features in return, go for venue which is correct choice for you. it does the both jobs of hatchback and compact suv, the key point of venue is the ground clearance of 190mm same as i20 active & creta you can glide of over the potholes & speedbrakers with an ease. So i suggest you to go for venue

Go for Creta 1.4 EX diesel costing 12L plus (around12.80L) on road price. 1.4 S diesel is minimum 1L costlier. Better to go for Venue 1.4 SX CRDi which has more feature than Creta and in your budget too. It has same power and torque as there in Creta.

Go for a top model i20 active SX in your budget... top models are a driving pleasure with all the in built instruments and gadgets... plus more fuel efficient than a Creta

Creta is always a better option but check the on road pricing. It may very your budget. With active, you can afford to buy the top end version within this budget

Suggest you wait for the Euro VI version which is the norm to be implemented from next fiscal. Alternatively you can also opt for Electric operated 4-wheelers

In the budget you are looking for, i20 Active SX diesel is the best option. However, if you have an inclination for an SUV and if you can extend your budget, 2018 Creta replete with new features, would be the ideal vehicle for long drives.
