Q. Which will be better Kia seltos automatic petrol 1.4 or diesel 1.5?
Zigwheels | 7 months ago
Choosing between the fuel type would depend on your daily running with the car if you drive for around 50 kilometers or more in a day, then we'd recommend opting for the 1.5-litre diesel engine of Kia Seltos as the diesel engine uses 15-20 percent less fuel compared to the petrol engines resulting in cheaper running costs and vice versa. Moreover, the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine is exclusively available with the GT-Line while the diesel engine is available with the HT-Line of Kia Seltos. Moreover, we'd recommend taking a test drive of the car for a better insight into the performance, comfort and compatibility. Follow the link for dealership details - Kia Car Showrooms
Q. Which one should I buy, Kia Seltos diesel manual or diesel automatic among the HTX & HTX+?
Zigwheels | 7 months ago
Selecting between the automatic and manual transmission would depend upon your usage of the car. If you tackle heavy traffic on a regular basis then we'd recommend going with the 6-speed automatic transmission of the Kia Seltos, while manual could be preferred if you do not have such traffic issues and also if you drive on highways more. Apart from that, if the budget is not an issue, then you may opt for the HTX+ variant as it gets goodies like Bose 8-speaker sound system, ventilated front seats, 8-way electrically-adjustable driver seat, fast wireless phone charger, front parking sensors, UV protected windshield, 7-inch full-colour multi-info display (MID), etc. Otherwise, the HTX variant too delivers most value for the money spent. Also, take a test drive of the car before making the final decision as it would help a lot in making up your mind. Q. Which one would you recommend KIA or MG Hector I am looking for petrol automatic. - Seltos (SP2i)?
Zigwheels | 9 months ago
As you are looking for a car with an automatic transmission. The cars cannot be compared in terms of the performances however, the Kia Seltos will be made available in three automatic (CVT, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed AT) transmissions on offer. On the other hand, the MG Hector would be made available with a 6-speed DCT transmission only. In terms of versatile transmission, Kia Seltos would be a better pick.

Q. Which one to choose between Kia seltos Petrol DCT or diesel automatic?
Zigwheels | 5 months ago
The choice of fuel type depends upon your daily drive, if it is above 50Km then we will suggest you go for a diesel variant else you can go for a petrol variant.
Q. Kia Seltos0 GTX Plus DCT (Petrol Automatic). Is the DCT gearbox good for city driving? Is it smooth? How does it compare with GTX Plus IVT Diesel automatic?
Diesel has torque converter unit and not IVT and yes you can use DCT in city also just keep shifting to neutral when in traffic and don't use creeping function as other automatics as it can get really hot inside gearbox making it to give warning to stop and this is not only for seltos dct but other cars too having dct gearbox . Talking about smoothest automatic gearbox it is IVT you wont feel any gearshifts but yes you will feel gearshifts in DCT just have a test drive

I have only driven Petrol GTX+, it is very smooth and have a very good response in city conditions. It gives the thrill for driving, I have done 300 kms a day in difficult roads it doesn’t hurt you at all. In heavy traffic and tight city roads the manoeuvring is very easy even with fingers you can control the steering. Mirrors are helpful, 360 degrees camera is awesome and inly discomfort we feel is from the under thigh support, mainly for short people.
