Q. Is it worth buying a s cross - S-Cross?

Having driven the S Cross diesel 1.3L mild hybrid for 30k kms, I can say it's got superior ride quality, Suzuki reliability, decent mileage of 19-21 kmpl with a mix of city and highway driving (depends on h/w - City ratio, gives more on highways with sensible driving) and low maintenance costs when you compare it to a similar category vehicle. You can't race in it but it still gives decent performance once the engine is set and it opens up. The smaller engine does strain when on a full load (5 ppl + luggage+ AC) but it can handle it. Newer versions (BS6) should now be even better to drive.

If you are looking for a good ride quality, space for 5, a good mileage and low cost of maintenance in a car, S-cross is definitely the choice to go for. creta on that price point is not a value for money car compared to the S-cross. again Xuv 300 on the other other hand is sub 4m compact SUV while S-cross is a larger car with larger seating space and boot size.

Sure you can opt for s cross since it's from Maruti stable pretty good with performance style and substance. I stay and drive in the hills and the car is pretty good in plains it will be a breeze
