Q. Is it good for long distance travel - Nano?

In second phase of my journey to transfer Nano from Noeda to Banglore I drove it from Nagpur to Banglore around 11539 km in a day. This time I travelled with my wife and around 150 kg stuff for my son without any issue. I started at morning 6 AM and reached Banglore midnight around 1245 AM. Took around 1 Hr break as power nap and drove without break except on toll and Petrol Pumps. I drove between 80 to 100 kmph. Now I can say Nano is no problem Car for long distance too. In Indian road and traffic conditions you hardly drive above 100 for 5 to 10 minutes and after some time you find vehicles crossed you also later staggering due to traffic again. Thanks to Ratan Tata for such a reliable car.

Why Not? I have Nano LX from Last 2011. It is about Nine and Half Years till date. I travelled with my Sweet Pleasanr Tiny Nano LX in a day 800 kms. And there is No problem in any manners. In its category i.e. Small Cars like Alto, Kwid, Eon there is much space, Very Good Mileage in Nano.You Can Travel anywhere any distance....

Absolutely !! you can drive Nano in long route without any issue, just keep track of petrol & it is as good as big vehicle & more cosier than big vehicle ,I have travelled to all over Nepal hills approx 800 km in hills ,it is amazing vehicle & the person has it only knows it , Sometimes you have to see hatred faces of some stupid & idiots proving you that you have owned Nano . For me it is mini cooper ,although I have xuv300 also but my family prefer to go in Nano sometimes.

I drive from jammu to delhi with very a comfortable ride with a top speed of 113 i completed my journey in 11 hours . Its a gr8 experience for me to ride in a nano for 600kms Appreciated car Thanks tata motors to give this wonderful ,budgetury car to us

HE ALSO HAS DRIVEN THE TATA NANO GENX FROM JABALPUR TO PUNE. MY FRIEND'S SON HAS DRIVEN THE TATA NANO FROM KANYAKUMARI TO LEH ON AN ADVENTURE TRIP.

Its good enough for long drives as well. I have taken this car for multiple long drives.1. bangalore to chennai2. bangalore to Pondicherry,3. bangalore to Belgaum.It handled well

Yes it's comfort same like suv ,I travel 8 to 9 hour in one day 5 times no pain no tide .but it's take time like bus ,not too fast 70 to 80 kmph i give 5 star for family car

Recently to break my own earlier travel distance of 1000 km in a day from Noeda to Nagpur and second phase of transfer of nano from Noeda to Banglore I drove Nano from Nagpur to Banglore 11539 KM in a day. Me and my wife with Nano loaded with around 150 kg stuff for my son started morning 6 AM and reached Banglore Banglore

I usually travel to Mumbai from Lonavla. And have also driven to mahableshwar couple of times. So with my experience. Traveling upto 300kms has always been comfortable.

Tata Nano has awesome mileage on long trips.Just recently had 350 km trip in 7 hrs . Had more than half tank still left on reaching destination.Kept speed consistent at 70 kmph , no issues.Tata made big mistake of stopping it.They should have marketed it for long trips than just city .

We have taken nano out for more than 500 kms one stretch no issues found ac and speed at 80km average. Brakes are little shaky at times. Rest are all good. Passengers get amazed because of the pick up and perception they have about the vehicle.

Absolutely yes, i travelled kerala to pune(1000+km). With max speed 80-90, only felt an issue that the fuel tank capacity.rest all comfortable.

Yes. I am always going my native place with family which distance 550 kmfrom hyderabad,and roaming to near temples which are around 100 km.

It's a good car & very spacious and comfortable for long drive. Definitely go for it. But it's not available now it has been discontinued.

Yeah! It's good enough for the price you are paying. I travelled more 400 kms with in 24hours with my family, without any problem.Yesterday only we roamed more than 250 kms , without any problem and of course comfortably.

Its good for short rides upto 100 km with 4 people & minimal luggage.Its not designed for really long sustained drives as engine can get real hot .Can still drive with well planned breaks every 1.5 hours.

Yes I have driven my self 900 km within 24 hrs i.e. from shajahan our to Gorakhpur start 8.00 a.m. and return by 4.00 a.m. say 20 hrs.similarly son to noida 340 one way and return within 24 hrs. No fatigue.

This car is not made for long distance touring. It's perfect city car for day to day commute. Although one can drive 300kms a day comfortably, but no at all safe to take on highway.

Ofcourse Yes! I have crossed 275 KMS from Delhi to Jaipur in my Nano within 3.5 Hours with its Top Speed.

Yes sure you can go for long trips with family and friends. I drive more then 500km many times in my Tata Nano. We enjoyed lot in all trips. Maintain average speed please
