Hi, the new Ertiga is nothing but a cosmetic upgrade of the last one. If you wish to compare BR-V with Ertiga, do a full test drive of both cars and the facts will uncover. Ride handling and rear passenger comfort on BR-V is miles ahead of Ertiga. The rear passengers do not get a body roll on BR-V and Ertiga either but that purely depends on how the driver is navigating the road turns, especially the spiral hilly terrain. The last row bench seats of BR-V are more usable and have better leg space for two when you compare it with Ertiga, which has a crammed third row. Features wise, Ertiga might score ahead as the newly launched version will definitely carry extra add-ons whereas BR-V facelift is expected to arrive in late 2019. The most striking difference between the two is the availability of CVT with paddle shifters on a petrol-head BR-V which is non existent in Ertiga. CVT with paddle shifters offers extreme drive comfort and the luxury of a supercar feature at virtually no extra cost.Overall, BR-V is way ahead of Ertiga but in India, it takes a person to be more smarter than just being wise to make the right choices when it comes to car buying. Yes in all aspects, except for seating comfort, Ertiga is slightly better in that area
