Q. I drive around 2000 kms a month. Currently driving Hyundai i20 petrol, drove 1.50 lacs. I am planning a new car, budget around 8-10 lakhs. What should be best buy between Ford Freestyle, Ford Aspire blu or should I look some other car. Also confused between petrol / diesel but as diesel rates are almost as petrol, should I go for petrol itself ? Moreover, there may be some regulatory issues for diesel engines in future as BS VI norms etc. Please suggest what should be a best buy car in budget 8-10 lakh. (But not a Maruti car)

@ Vishal | Dear Zigwheels teamDifference between petrol and diesel variants is not too high.... I suppose petrol gives 14 kmpl and diesel 16 kmpl...For running upto 2000 kms, i dont think diesel should be opted, gone are the days when difference between petrol and diesel was 15-20 rupees... With a marginal difference of just 7-8 rupees, petrol option is safe, considering keeping vehicle for 7-8 years and other regulations of Govt and NGT....For 7-8 years and running 8 years, petrol will be cost beneficial..Source - https://aravindavk.in/diesel-vs-petrol-car/Please provide a expert opinion..Also which variant of aspire is worth buy..Also in 8 lacs segment, aspire is worth a buy or other options should be considered
