Positives:1. Affordable - Zeta variant offers good value. Offers all the essential features you need such as front fog lamps, all four disc brakes, alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse parking camera, Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in connectivity, auto AC, 60:40 split seats, engine push start/stop button, cruise control, tilt/telescopic steering, keyless entry, power windows, electrically adjustable and foldable outside mirrors and more.2. Spacious - Among the few SUVs/crossovers that can seat three people comfortably at the back3. Excellent ride quality - Ride is smooth. Goes over small bumps and potholes without unsettling passengers Negatives:1. 1.3-litre diesel engine offers enough power for city driving but is left wanting on the highway. Overtakes require planning2. Interior is decent but doesn't make you feel special. Creta's interior feels more premium3. Top-end Alpha variant gets LED projector headlamps, DRLs and auto-dimming IRVM. But the price premium over Zeta variant is too high. 4. No automatic or petrol engine: Automatic would have added to the convenience a lot. A petrol engine could have made the S-Cross more affordable.5. Not enough colour options: This is a minor point but most of the people end up buying the S-Cross in the Nexa blue shade for lack of enough options. The paint quality doesn't feel rich though. It tends to get scratched quite easily. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons and the S-Cross is definitely a good buy for its price.
