Q. Hi I have Kia SONET DCT, petrol, I am getting only 9 to 10 kmpl in city and in highway 11 to 12 maximum, any solution?

Even I am facing same problem with my Kia Sonet 1.0 iMT it’s the worst one with mileage of just 8.0 to 9.5 Kmpl in city and 12.5 to 14 Kmpl in highway. I have tried all the driving methods suggested by so called experts of Kia service and I am didn’t get any mileage improvement at all. This car is ripping me off… if you have very high income than only buy this car cause it’s going to cost you Rs. 12.5 per km. Pls don’t go after fuel economy figures of Arai this are totally misleading.

I am facing the same mileage issue with my Kia Sonet IMT. Reported to service as well but they have no solution However practically it's about 9-10 kmpl only in city and around 13-14 on highway. Please advise if someone has a solution other than the usual driving tips.

My 8 months old Sonet DCT has recently clocked 10K kms. but it has very very poor fuel efficiency. The dealer assured that after 3rd service ,the mileage shall improve .I tried every possible way to drive but in city it is 7-9 kmpl and on highway it gives about 11-12 kmpl. It is very difficult to maintain such fuel guzzler. seriously thinking to sell.

Even I am getting only 8 KM/LITTER in city with no traffic, This is very disappointing things, Company as well ARAI should declare real mileage reality of vehicle, they should not hide anything, If ARAI are hiding the reality then whom to trust we are middle class family we can't afford 4 wheeler but we are buying a car base on ARAI statements

Hi. Even am also seeing the similar mileage with my kia Sonet HTX IMT ..in city 9-10 and highways 14-15kmp/l ...Don't know what to do...it's very worest as the day by day petrol prices are increasing ...I felt bad of choosing the kia Sonet

I'm also facing same issue... I have GT+ Sonet IMT Petrol... have run 5000+kms..still no improvement in mileage.. even without AC it's giving only 12-14 on highway.... don't even ask me about city

Am also facing the same issue with Sonet 1.0 turbo charged IMT. Very poor mileage (9-10 kmpl), it is not what the Company claims. Regretting my decision to have upgraded to Sonet.

Im facing the same issue. @ zigwheels i don't unnecessarily revv, driving from last 15 years and have driven multiple cars. I must say this is a big concern in Sonet

Yes, I am also facing same issue. I have KIA Sonet HTX Petrol IMT on 16th May 2022 and got first serviced on 16.06.2022. After that I am getting only 9 to 10 kmpl in city and in highway 11 to 12 maximum.

The mileage range is quite wide. I got the 1.0 liter DCT and the minimum mileage i have got is 8kmpl and the maximum of 18kmpl. The max figure was when i used a lot of cruise control on the journey. I always use Eco drive mode. I am practically scared to try anything else.

Same here, my GTX+ DCT gives 9-10 in city and 11-12 on highways and about 12-14 on expressways if cruise control is used and speed limit is under 80-90 kmh... Regret choosing the petrol engine

Same I am also getting 9-10 kmpl in city and nearly 11-12 kmpl on highways I am having sony 1.0 turbo charged IMT model and i use this car to go to my factory which is only 2 kms away from my home total I only drive 10 kms daily and total it has only driven 800 kms and it has consumed 7000 of petrol and it's been only 22 days I've got the car.
