I have owned a Scorpio for some time now, and am very confident of its performance on road. I missed a turn and was on the wrong road once, I turned around, when my wife asked me take the vehicle off road and take the shorter route to the main road. It was more like a dirt track, with small mounds and a ditch.in the track. The vehicle took the road with great ease, and in a short while I was on the highway.

For Rough roads , for regular travel,Thar would be a better option. Scorpio is a family SUV , smooth and preferably for smoother roads and smotimes for fun of of roading.

The Scorpio is a tough vehicle and I have used mine on rough roads.
