Prog | 6 years ago0 ReplyYa for occasional use swift petrol is a good car. Pros:It has a light clutch which makes it easier to drive in bumper to bumper traffic. Its petrol engine is very silent yet powerful.Seats are comfortableCons:Lighter buildSuspension is on the stiffer side (so ride is jerky on bad roads)Paint quality is not goodInterior and plastic quality doesn't feel premium
Ashish | 6 years ago0 Reply@ Vishwambhar | Sure. When I am away for a long spell, all I do is disconnect the battery. Even if I reconnect the battery after 6 months, it starts immediately. If the battery is connected, make sure to run the engine for at least 15 minutes every week to keep the battery charged.
I don't think so that the battery should be charged every week. I'm also using this car and even after leaving for 2 months it started at a first chance. Longest I've left and started is 4 months. But no problem even after that. Battery is always connected. I've never disconnected since I've bought it.

Balakrishnan | 6 years ago1 ReplyDefinitely you can buy, but from safety point of view, vitara Brezza & Hyundai venue will be far far ahead. Ask your father to test drive all the three, to arrive at a decision. For occasional use go for the petrol version.
ChiragPatel | 6 years ago1 ReplyVXi auto if the daily drive is less then 50 kms as the mileage you would get is around 12 kms per ltr or VDi Auto if running is more than 50 kms per day,the Mileage you can expect is around 17 to 18 kms per ltr
Partha | 6 years ago0 ReplyAbsolutely. One long drive in the beginning to check for performance issues, if any, and subsequently once a week or ten days should keep your car in good condition. Swift is pretty much VFM. Just ensure airbags for safety.
Madhav | 6 years ago0 ReplyI use my car 2-3 times in a month, as it has become very difficult to drive in Mumbai. So whenever I go out out of Mumbai, use it. No problem. Car is really good.
