    In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, there are some points that you can keep in mind while riding such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your car, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the car unnecessarily, ride your car at economical speeds, etc.

    I am facing same problem with Tata Tigor AMT, going for mileage testing this weekend. The car is serviced regularly, typre pressures are checked weekly, mild speeds during city drive. I have seen mileage drop from 12.5kmpl to 8 kmpl now. Dilip's answer is not at all helpful
