Vw vento is best sedan in the segment its understated elegance style and ageless beauty has no match. It's like a wine gets better with the age.The good thing about vw is it has got its fundamental strong so even after the decade of launching still you can go for it.It's performance handling driving dynamics are unmatchable for instance you can compare driving pleasure with an audi a3 or q2.At highways at higher speed it remains so planted to the ground very much stable which brings bright smile on your face its purely drivers car. It's fun to drive car.And can comfortably accommodate four passengers for long journey without getting tired. It has solid build quality the thud of the door in enough to feel the safety and solidly build platform of the car.The only con here is the service cost maintenance is on the higher side specially the diesel engines. But the parts last longer too.Overall i'm very happy and satisfied customer of vw vento mt tdi.

Awesome car ride is nice and comfortable on highways a little bit on the stiff side in city But you can live with it. Handling is great and the electronics also help for better drivability.

Comfortable and safe car.Have been driving it for the last 8 years. It hasn't given me any trouble.Love the fact that i need to get it serviced only once a year, And not every three months. My honda city (previous car) needed servicing every 3 months.

Wonderful mileage.16 kmpl in city and 26 kmpl on highways.Really satisfied with this diesel manual vento.Colour and chasis are excellent. Now vw has started transparency in service cost also.We can calculate the charges online.

Highway mileage is always 22+ at a speed of 100-110 with 4 adult occupant and ac on.However, City mileage is around 12.5 with single occupant.Average is ~ 15-16 for diesel with 50-50 usage.Ac blower and cabin light switches are of poor quality and keep on breaking over time; and are expensive to replace these minor things.Steering mount switches are not functional after 5 years of usage. No other quality issue.Getting rattling noise from front wheels and i can feel the instability on paddles as well, On rough roads. This is happening from last 2.5 years and service center guys are not able to identify the issue or fix it.Someone says frame welding is broken, Someone else says suspension needs replacement, Someone says the rubber padding on top of suspension are bad, But nothing is helping it out.The issue gets fixed only for 10-15 days after each servicing.Highspeed stability is good and even there is lots of power to overtake at high speed.Steering controls are good.Boot space is well managed to fit in a family luggage for a month - 4 big size trolleys and few more smaller bags.

Its purely a driver's car, don't expect anything more from its. when you r behind the wheel you can feel that surge of power and that give you so confident to give throttle. Breaking system and vehicle stability is awesome. steering is equally weighed that can add on your confident at higher speed. And the best part is if you wish to overtake some vehicle you don't have to think twice just give the command and it follows you.

It is an good German engineered car. The performance is excellent and you don't get tired even after driving 350 Km at a strech. Match to perfection in engineering. It is an performance car and love to drive Its exterior and interior are outdated and do not match to the present styling.

Q. For Navigation, which map service does the City use? and what does vento use?
  • Both the Vento and the City do not come with in-built maps. But you can connect your phone through Apple CarPlay or Android auto to use Google Maps.
Q. Which is the better option to buy Skoda Rapid Or Volkswagen Vento ?
  • They are almost same. Go and test them and prefer whichever you like.
Q. Is Vento is expensive to maintain?
  • Yes as service interval is long ..you may need replacement eg .sensors ..abs ..on the long run you benefit by the great experience...body work is costly as all side pieces are moulded into an unit for safety..petrol will be better in if you need a hassle free ownership..great petrol automatic.
  • Not really. I have been using Vento for last 6 years. The gearbox is lubricated with synthetic oil, which costs around 3-4 thousand. The overall yearly maintenance cost would be around 8-10 thousand. But vehicle runs trouble free for next one year, quite reliable.
  • No it’s not. It’s quite affordable if you don’t give it to the dealership for your annual maintenance. Rest is insurance and upkeep cost which will be the same for all the other cars of similar size.
